I am an integrative biologist who focuses on the evolution and ecological consequences of social behavior, especially within social insects. When I was 13 years old, I started a punk band called the Army Ants. Two decades later, I still play music with friends but I spend most of my time studying ants. It’s funny how things end up sometimes.
